What is Atherotame & what is its AYUSH Product code?

Atherotame is an ayurvedic formulation which helps to prevents and reverses the process of atherosclerosis. Atherotame is prescribed for prevention and treatment of various atherosclerotic vascular diseases including cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases such as coronary artery disease (CAD), cerebro vascular accidents (CVA), hypertension, etc. Every BharatVed OTC product is duly approved by Ministry of AYUSH proving its efficacy & showing that the product has gone through proper clinical trial. BharatVed Atherotame was approved for manufacturing under Drug Manufacturing Licence No. 33-Ayur-(HR) on 19/04/2021 under product code AY/Sanjivan/22673.

What is Atherosclerosis and how does Atherotame help to prevent atherosclerosis ?

The gradual buildup of plaque (atheroma) in the walls of your arteries is called atherosclerosis. This plaque can be made up of fat, cholesterol, calcium or other substances that can lead to serious complications like coronary artery disease, peripheral artery disease, heart attack, or stroke. Atherotame contains phytoconstituents (active principles) isolated from 9 selected herbs having anti-atherosclerotic, anti-coagulant, thrombolytic, plaque-reducing, anti-oxidant, fibrinolytic, cholesterol-regulating, anti-stress and rejuvenating properties which helps to prevent and treat atherosclerosis.

In which type of patients is Atherotame beneficial?

Atherotame is suitable for people suffering from atherosclerosis and other vascular diseases such as vasculitis, aneurysm, etc. Atherotame helps to lower LDL & VLDL levels helping reduce incidences of stroke, coronary artery disease & carotid artery disease.

What are the side effects of Atherotame?

When taken in recommended dosage, Atherotame does not have any adverse side effects. However, it is highly recommended to check the ingredient list of Atherotame to make sure you are not allergic to any of its ingredients.

How much time does Atherotame usually take to show its effect

Atherotame is a safe Ayurvedic Formulation without any adverse side effects so it is better to continue taking Atherotame for a prolonged duration, preferably lifetime, to keep the symptoms of aging under control. We recommended taking Agetame for at least 9 months for long lasting effects

What is the recommended dosage of Atherotame ?

Atherotame should be taken in a recommended dose of 1 capsule, twice a day (1-0-1, 1 BD) for the medicine to show its proper effects. Please make sure the dosage never exceeds 6 capsules per day under any circumstances.

What is the special diet & general lifestyle recommendation while taking Atherotame?

It is recommended to avoid eating processed food (packet food), excess sugar & refined oil. Completely stopping the consumption of alcohol & any form of tobacoo is highly advised. The patient has to completely stop eating fried/deep fried food especially the one which is recooked repeatedly in the same oil as it causes transfat to build up. Apart from this, 30 minutes of daily exercise would help Agetame to provide the best results.
